Lipscomb Academy Mustangs Bring Home D2-AA State Championship Trophy!
This was a special week to be a Lipscomb Academy Mustang as we sent our Football team off to the State Championship to compete in the Blue Cross Bowl. The team stepped on the field at 11 am on Thursday morning and brought home our 4th state title with a final score of 27-0 against Christ Presbyterian Academy.
Fans of all ages packed the stands to cheer on the team during their games.
"We are truly blessed. Phenomenal ending to a great season. So proud of our athletes, coaches and student body. I can’t wait to see what’s next!” says Dr. Brad Schultz, Lipscomb Academy head of school.
We are especially excited to announce that Lipscomb Academy senior and Boston College commit, Alex Broome, was named the 2021 Division II-AA BlueCross Bowl MVP.
