While SEED, lower, and middle school students returned to campus for spring semester, upper school students took learning outside the classroom.
To kick off the 2023 spring semester our upper school students took learning outside of the classroom to participate in our inaugural Winterim experience based program. This program allows students to embark on the experience that speaks to them most. This years offerings included 21 global and domestic destinations, that ranged from local day long offerings to New York City, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and even visiting Lipscomb University's villa in Florence, Italy.
Our students explored, learned, played, and created ever-lasting memories with their peers and teachers. These unique learning experiences are shaped in the form of classes, academic workshops, service opportunities, mission trips, and global learning.
Learning excursions provide an opportunity for students to create peak MOMENTS during a time of experiential learning. This is one way our offerings are intentional about incorporating and creating space for our spiritual life theme to come to life.
Enjoy a few fun highlights from 2023 Winterim learning excursions! The world is the Lord’s handiwork and our classroom.
