but first things first-- the Senior Photo Shoots!
When we talk about photography for the Class of 2025 students,
there are two photo sessions required.
The Casual Photo | June-September 2024
The photo session packages available through LA Photo Studio are described in the visuals below, along with pricing. Check the booking schedule to determine the time and location that works best for you. Some examples of the Class of 2024 senior sessions are linked here.
Please note that your casual photos will be used in conjunction with your formal photo in the yearbook. As such, we require professional-quality photos. If you decide not to use LA Photo Studio, you may choose a professional photographer of your choice. However, it's crucial to maintain the yearbook's quality standard, meaning no cell phone or low-quality photos will be approved. Yes, this includes 'portrait mode.'
All images must be turned in by October 01, 2024, to meet the yearbook deadline. Should you select another photographer, it is your responsibility to make sure they are aware of this deadline and your responsibility to submit via Google Form upload. If LA Photo Studio is your photographer, we will send your selected image to the yearbook for you.
We are releasing dates in one month increments to allow for the ever changing calendars of our seniors. From May- August, the new options for the coming month will be released on the 25th.
Don't see a date available? Don't panic; PLEASE reach out! This calendar only allows for 1 hour sessions to be booked, but many will have booked a basic session, and there is plenty of room to get you in.
Due to turn around times, and for you to be able to select your photos in time for final retouching before the yearbook deadline (October 1st), the last available date to book a shoot with LA Photo Studio will be in mid-September (exact date TBD). We do not control these deadlines; we just have to work with them. However, we are here to help! Please email if you have any trouble. photo@lipscombacademy.org

The Formal Photo | August 8th and 9th during the school day
Session fee is $50

Checks accepted in the amount of $54.63, which includes tax.
We are unable to accept cash payments.
The session fee covers:
Formal studio setup
Use of the tux or drape
Selection of your yearbook pose
Retouching of your yearbook pose
Time and expertise of the photographer
The session fee does not include any prints or products.
Any images you'd like to purchase will be available in your private gallery.
Re-sitting fees will apply for redo sessions.

All sessions include the option to purchase prints, albums, additional downloads, graduation announcements, and more. Digital files will be delivered with basic retouching, as high resolution jpegs, and with printing rights, as well as recommendations for where to print on your own if you wish. All ordered prints will be delivered with basic retouching, on archival paper, and with the utmost care and attention to detail. Heavy retouching available at an additional cost.
As a special add-on option, we would love to capture a few family photos at the end of your senior photography experience. For an additional $175, add on a mini family session. Senior year flies by quickly! Don’t miss the opportunity to capture some family memories before your senior moves on to his/her next adventure!
