All students Pre-K – 5th grade are required to participate in an assessment measuring the social, emotional, and academic skills of the applicant. In addition, all students applying for 6th through 12th grade are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). Learn more about the ISEE.

Yes, Lipscomb is open to families of all denominations and religious backgrounds.

Lipscomb does offer financial aid to students. Families are asked to submit a Parent Financial Statement (PFS) to School Scholarship Services (SSS) to determine need.

Lipscomb Academy is triple-accredited through the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), the Southern Association of College and Schools (SACS) and the National Christian Schools Association (NCSA). At one point, Lipscomb was the only school in the country with this prestigious triple accreditation.

The ratio of students to faculty is 10 to 1.

Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year is 1,417. making Lipscomb one of the largest private schools in middle Tennessee.
