Academic Support
Lipscomb Academy offers accommodations through Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and tutoring for students through the Equip Program. We are committed to providing comprehensive support to students, ensuring their academic success, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Our Accommodations Department works diligently to ensure that students with disabilities have equal access to educational opportunities. We follow the guidelines set forth by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Through this department, we provide a range of accommodations tailored to meet the unique needs of each student who is eligible for a Section 504 Plan. The Equip Tutoring Program is another integral part of our Academic Support Program. Our highly skilled tutors provide personalized academic assistance across a wide range of subjects. We understand that each student has unique learning needs, and our tutors adapt their teaching methods to ensure effective and tailored support. Whether students require help understanding complex concepts, improving study skills, or enhancing their overall academic performance, our tutors are here to guide them on their educational journey. Through one-on-one tutoring sessions, we aim to empower students, boost their confidence, and help them achieve their academic goals.
